Work Order Efficiency – Internal vs External Execution
This dashboard is intended for operations/property leaders, maintenance managers, procurement and finance who aim to cut costs by shifting the right tasks from external contractors to internal teams.
Who is watching it? | Head of Operations, Property/Facility Manager, Maintenance Manager, Procurement, Controller/CFO. |
|---|---|
How often? | Weekly (steering & resourcing) and monthly (cost review & procurement actions). |
Why you should use the dashboard?
It tracks the share of externally executed work orders (R90) and reveals where and what you outsource: by region, work order category and type, with a time trend and a detailed job list (created/completion dates, executor type, vendor, property). The goal is to pinpoint high-cost outsourced tasks that can be insourced, standardized, or re-procured more efficiently while protecting quality and SLAs.
Hints!
High external share + low complexity = insourcing candidate. Filter categories at 70–100% external and check internal skills/tools.
Location patterns. Regions/properties with high external share may signal staffing or scheduling gaps.
