Working days to closed work order (from sent to contractor)
What is it?
The key figure shows the average time in number of working days that it takes from the time a work order is sent to the contractor for execution until it is completed.
How is it calculated?
Number of working days from sent to contractor to completed summed for all work orders / Number of work orders = working days/work order
* Includes only those work orders where work orders were completed within specified period.
* Only counts working days.
Why is it important to follow?
Closely monitoring the number of work days to completion of the work order (from shipped to contractor) is essential to ensure efficiency and progress in property maintenance. By having insight into the average time it takes from the time the work order is sent to the contractor until the work is completed, the organization can identify any delays or issues in the workflow. This enables early intervention to resolve problems and minimize disruption to maintenance operations.
In addition, it can be an important factor in evaluating the contractors' performance and ensuring that they fulfill their obligations under the agreements. By having control over this time, the organization can improve its planning and scheduling of maintenance activities, leading to smoother and more efficient property operations.
