Carried out inspections

Shows the number of completed inspections of rental objects during the selected period.

What is it?

The key figure shows the total number of inspections that have been carried out on rental properties within a stock or in a specific property. This figure represents the number of times properties have been reviewed or inspected to assess their condition, maintenance needs and compliance with lease agreements.

It gives an indication of how actively and carefully the property management monitors and maintains its rental properties. Information from the inspections can be used to prioritize maintenance measures and to ensure that the properties meet the necessary standards and regulations.

Note that a high value does not always signal something positive, and similarly a low value does not always indicate something negative. A high number of completed inspections may indicate a high rate of relocation (if it is routine to always carry out inspections between tenants).

How is it calculated?

Total number of inspections carried out

* Only includes inspections carried out on rental properties (and not e.g. rounds that take place on property).

Why is it important to follow?

Following the key figure is important for several reasons:

  1. Maintenance and safety: Inspections are essential to ensure that rental properties are in good condition and safe for tenants. It helps identify any maintenance needs or deficiencies that need to be addressed.

  2. Tenant satisfaction: Regular inspections demonstrate commitment to maintaining high quality standards. It can increase tenant satisfaction and reduce the number of complaints and problems.

  3. Improvement of income and value: By keeping the rental property in good condition and by identifying areas that can be improved, the income from the rental property can be maintained (and possibly improved) while the value of the property can increase.

  4. Compliance with agreements: Inspections help to ensure that the properties comply with the leases and that the tenants comply with the agreed terms.

  5. Effective maintenance planning: The information from the inspections can contribute to the business's maintenance planning, to prioritize maintenance measures and budgeting. It helps prevent unforeseen costs.

  6. Compliance with rules and regulations: Inspections help property owners and managers meet legal requirements and regulations related to security and tenancy rights.

In summary, the key figure is of central importance for both letting and management, and ensures that the rental objects are in good condition, meet agreements and regulations and maintain satisfied tenants.
