Working days to closed work order (from accepted by contractor)
What is it?
The key figure shows the average time in number of working days that it takes from the time a work order is accepted by the contractor for execution until it is completed.
Unlike the key figure Working days to completed work order (from registered), we therefore only measure here how long the execution itself takes.
How is it calculated?
Number of working days from accepted by contractor to completed summed for all work orders / Number of work orders = working days/work order
* Includes only those work orders where work orders were completed within specified period.
* Only counts working days.
Why is it important to follow?
Closely monitoring the number of workdays until completion of work orders (from acceptance by the contractor) is crucial to ensuring efficiency and progress in property maintenance. By having insight into the average time it takes from when the contractor accepts the work order to when the work is completed, the organization can identify any delays or issues in the workflow. This allows for early intervention to address problems and minimize disruptions in maintenance operations.
Additionally, it can be a critical factor in evaluating contractor performance and ensuring they fulfill their obligations as per the contracts. By having control over this timeframe, the organization can improve its planning and scheduling of maintenance activities, leading to smoother and more efficient property operations.
