KPMG Global PropTech Survey 2019: About a year later, we highlight this exciting global report from KPMG - better late than never.

Some (of many) interesting points that they highlight are:

"Digital strategies rarely include data management or a data strategy. Only 25% of the respondents in KPMG's report have a well-established data strategy that makes it possible to capture and analyze the right amount of data. One third have no computer strategy at all."

"The lack of integration between systems and functions results in inefficiency, duplication of work and, above all, unreliable reporting and several different variations of the truth. Fragmented IT infrastructure also makes it very difficult for real estate companies to achieve flexibility. The limitations of older IT and the lack of cooperation between organizational silos make it very difficult for companies to be flexible and responsive to changes in their environment."

"If you do not use data efficiently and correctly, you will miss a huge value in your company and in the long run in your market. Others will not make the same mistakes and you will find it harder to keep up with an increasingly changing world."
