Purpose of the Beta
In many real estate organizations, there’s a gap between management’s strategic goals and the everyday work of operations. KPIs like Net Operating Income (NOI), Customer Satisfaction (NKI), or Energy Use are crucial for success — but often feel distant to technicians, maintenance teams, and customer service.
Homepal’s new KPI feature bridges that gap. It makes it possible to break down company-wide goals into concrete KPIs that every team can influence — so everyone understands how their daily work contributes to the overall result.
As a beta participant, you’ll help shape how this connection works in practice.

Dedicated onboarding and workshops where we map the link between your chosen goal and its operational drivers.
Direct influence on product development – your feedback will shape how this feature is released to all customers.

How the Beta Works
The beta runs for approximately 12 weeks, divided into four phases:
Selection & Focus
You submit the strategic KPI your company wants to focus on (e.g. Net Operating Income, Customer Satisfaction, or Energy Use).
👉 Requirement: the underlying data for that KPI must already exist in Homepal.
Mapping & Planning
We’ll contact you for a joint workshop where we break down the strategic goal into 3–5 operational KPIs. Together, we’ll confirm that a relevant team and at least one leadership representative are included.
Active Test Period
Your teams start working with these KPIs directly in Homepal. We’ll hold short follow-ups to gather feedback and continuously refine the experience.
Evaluation & Results
We wrap up with a joint session to reflect on what worked best and share the key insights from the beta.
Participation Requirements
To ensure we focus on the right things, each participating company should meet these criteria:
One clear strategic goal – for example, Net Operating Income (R12), Customer Satisfaction (R90), or Energy Use (R12).
The data for that KPI must already exist in Homepal.
Active involvement from three levels of the organization:
At least one person from management (CEO, CFO, or Head of Property Management).
One team lead or process owner (e.g. Technical Manager or Customer Service Lead).
A relevant team of 2–3 operational users working in daily operations.
Availability for 2–3 workshops during the 12-week period.
Willingness to share feedback and learnings to help us develop the feature further.
What We’ll Learn Together

Which KPI chains create the most understanding, engagement, and action.
How Homepal can best visualize these relationships to support decision-making.
The result: a solution that doesn’t just show numbers — it builds alignment, accountability, and shared direction.
Timeline Overview
Weeks 1–2 – Selection & Focus
You submit the strategic KPI your company wants to focus on using the form below. We’ll select pilot participants and confirm that the necessary data already exists in Homepal.
Weeks 3–4 – Mapping & Planning
We’ll hold a joint workshop where we break down your chosen goal into 3–5 operational KPIs. Together, we’ll ensure the right team and at least one leadership representative are involved.
Weeks 5–8 – Active Test Period
Your teams start working with the KPIs directly in Homepal. We’ll follow up with short check-ins and collect feedback to continuously improve the experience.
Weeks 9–10 – Iteration
The Homepal team refines the functionality and visualization based on insights from your feedback.
Weeks 11–12 – Wrap-Up & Results
We finish with a joint session to reflect on the results, share key learnings, and identify what works best ahead of the wider launch.
