Homepal CEO Rasmus Persson appointed 35 under 35 within the real estate industry

Fastighetsnytt asked Rasmus about how he ended up where he is today, his ten-year-plan, and his thoughts about the future of the real estate industry. Read his answers below.

Career:

After studying at Lund University, I had a job in sales waiting for me at a large well-known company, but at the last second, I chose Homepal. At the time, it was not an easy decision, but I have always had the drive to do something on my own and this was my chance - together with some amazing co-founders. Today I am the CEO and one of the driving factors in Homepal, an exciting start-up with a cocky vision to change the real estate industry with the help of data. It's an area in which the real estate industry has a lot to learn.

Over the years, I have met over 400 real estate players and gained a broad insight into the industry's challenges from a real estate company, supplier and investment perspective. In addition to my involvement in Homepal, I am part of the MERC Talent Network and am a member of PropTech Sweden's advisory board.

Here I am in 10 years:

The only thing that drives me in my career is going to a job that I love. Why? II believe that if you work with your passion, you will always deliver and grow. In 10 years, I hope I still love my job and inspire others around me to feel the same. In addition, I still want to challenge the status quo to constantly move the industry in the right direction.

For the real estate industry, I hope and believe it has made a great transformational journey and hopefully we at Homepal have been a major contributing factor in that journey.
