Senior Integration Engineer & Product Owner

Purpose of the role

The purpose of the role is to lay the foundation for a new team within the product organization, focused on integrations and partnerships. The role is responsible for establishing structures, ways of working, and technical foundations that enable integrations and partnerships to be managed in a scalable, sustainable, and business-driven way.

You will have the mandate to shape how Homepal works with integrations and partnerships — from technical architecture and prioritization to how partnerships are initiated, managed, and further developed over time.

Over time, the role will focus on building an efficient and scalable product team with the ability to operate globally and support continued growth.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• building and maintaining technical integrations to Homepal, such as ETL and data pipelines and API integrations

• reducing the need for manual handling during the initial implementation of new data sources

• identifying and realizing partnerships where Homepal becomes a natural and integrated part of the partner’s offering

• developing self-service solutions for data connections, enabling customers to connect data sources without manual involvement

• acting as the primary point of contact for partners, with the ability to present, sell, and build long-term, trust-based collaborations

Short- and long-term objectives

In the short term (0–6 months), the focus is on:

• reducing the need for manual configuration in new customer implementations

• strengthening existing integrations and ensuring high operational stability

• establishing clear structures and effective points of contact with existing partners

In the longer term (6–18 months), the role is expected to:

• enable new business models and partner-driven distribution

• contribute to scalable product delivery and reduce dependency on Professional Services

• establish and scale a product team that enables global management of integrations and partnerships

Team placement

The role is part of the product organization and reports to both the Product Manager (collaboration, prioritization, and business development) and the CTO (technical responsibility).

You will work closely with other product teams, as well as implementation/professional services and customer success.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you have:

• several years of experience in data engineering, integrations, and API-related work

• experience building and scaling ETL and data pipelines

• experience working with Python

You also bring strong business understanding, with the ability to identify business value in technical solutions and understand what drives growth.

You are comfortable communicating and negotiating with external parties and have a proven ability to build long-term, win–win partnerships.
