Create a dashboard
Dashboards help you gather, visualize, and share real-time insights.
1. Create a dashboard
Go to Dashboards and click Create dashboard.
You can also click the + icon that appears when you hover over Dashboards in the menu.
2. Add one or more widgets
A widget can contain one or more metrics with synced data, or a static component.
Metrics
Select a metric
Choose a filter (called skärning in Swedish)
Click Add
Edit your widget:
Click the pencil icon to open settings
Adjust title, visualization, data source, time period, and more.
Avoid using filters unless absolutely necessary. To get the most out of Homepal and keep numbers consistent across the organization, use central slices instead of manual data filtering.
Others
Choose whether to add a comment, text, or image — elements not connected to data or metrics.
Click Done when you’re finished.
The dashboard will now be saved as a draft, visible only to you and system administrators.
3. Publish your dashboard
When you’re ready, it’s time to publish your dashboard to the organization.
Click Publish and follow these steps:
Choose a name
Set access level
Add users or groups
Provide a short description of the dashboard’s purpose
Choose a location
Assign an owner
Click Publish again to confirm.
🎉 Your dashboard is now live and available to the organization! (or the users and groups that were added)
