Groups, group pages and a personalized start screen
We’ve just taken the first major step in our broader effort to improve the user journey in Homepal – something often overlooked in traditional BI tools, but absolutely essential for building a truly data-engaged organization.
With the release of groups, group pages, and a personalized start screen, it’s now easier than ever to ensure every user sees the right information – immediately upon logging in.
What does this mean?
👥 Groups – such as Property Managers or Regional Managers – are now a central part of Homepal.
📄 Dashboards can be assigned to one or more groups.
🏠 Users see dashboards tied to their groups directly on their personal start screen.
📚 All group dashboards are collected on a clear and dedicated group page.
The goal:
New users shouldn’t have to search for relevant data.
Everyone in a group should work toward the same goals, with shared definitions.
This is a key step in moving from a tool that simply presents data, to one that activates users and drives action.
Why does this matter?
We’ve gathered feedback from users across the real estate industry – through interviews, sales calls, implementations and support.
The patterns are clear:
“New users need to quickly see what’s relevant – or we lose them.”
“We want to align teams across geographies around the same goals.”
“We need to surface key numbers fast – without clicking around.”
We hear you. That’s why we’re reimagining Homepal – not just as an analytics tool, but as a central hub for focused, data-driven work.
